Oregon

Oregon is in Pacific Northwest area of America and has California bordering its south, Washington at the north, Nevada on the southeast and Idaho to the east.  Oregon became a state of America in 1859, the country’s 33rd state.  Agriculturally, it is the valley of the Willamette River (western Oregon) that is most productive in the state and is the most densely populated.  The landscape in the state of Oregon is extremely diverse, comprising volcanoes, windswept Pacific coastline, dense forests and high desert.  It is very beautiful and extremely green and there are semi-arid scrublands and meadows in the state.
