Shreveport

Shreveport is America’s 109th largest city.  It extends into the neighboring Bossier Parish and between Bossier City and Shreveport flows the Red River.  The Shreve Town Company founded the city of Shreveport in 1836.  The population stood at 200,145 over a decade ago.  Today it is known as a commercial and cultural center of the Ark-La-Tex (since this is where Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas meet).
