Grand Forks: Business Leaders

Grand Forks is the third-largest city in North Dakota and has a population of approximately 51,000.  It is located on the western banks of the Red River of the North in a flat area known as the Red River Valley.  It was originally called Les Grandes Fourches by French fur traders and was founded in 1870 by steamboat captain Alexander Griggs and incorporated on February 22, 1881.
