Oklahoma City is Oklahoma’s largest city as well as the capital of Oklahoma. The population a few years ago was estimated at 551,789. It has one of the top livestock markets in the world and petroleum, oil and natural gas are its economies main products due to the location of Oklahoma city which is situated in the middle of an oil field. There are also various light and heavy industries in the city and the federal government is a major employer. Also located in Oklahoma City are: Federal Aviation Administration offices, Tinker Air Force Base and the US Department of Transportation’s Mike Monroney Aeronautic Center.
