Raleigh

Raleigh is the capital city of North Carolina and it is known as the “City of Oaks” due to its many oak trees.  The city’s population is approximately 405,000 and it is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.  It was named for Sir Walter Raleigh.  Raleigh is part of what is known as the Research Triangle metropolitan region along with Durham and Chapel Hill.
