Rapid City

Rapid City is the second-largest city in the state of South Dakota.  It was named after the Rapid Creek on which the city was established and it is set with the Black Hills in the background.  It has an estimated population of 60,000 and it is known as the “Gateway to the Black Hills” and the “Star of the West.”
