Atlanta

Atlanta has an estimated population of 540,921 and was, as of 2008, the 33rd largest city in the United States.  Metropolitan Atlanta is the 9th largest metropolitan area in the country, with approximately 5.5 million people living there.  Atlanta, Georgia has seen an amazing amount of growth in the last decade, with more than 1.13 million new residents coming just between the years 2000 and 2008.

Atlanta is considered both a transportation hub, with a major airport for domestic and international travel, and a top business city.  Atlanta is host to the world headquarters of the Coca-Cola Company, Georgia-Pacific, AT&T Mobility, CNN, Delta Air Lines and Turner Broadcasting.  The Atlanta airport is actually considered to be the world’s busiest airport.
